• How to carry out a full professional pedicure from start to finish

• Nail shaping, buffing and preparation for the toes

• Perfect classic polish application for a salon-quality finish in red and French

Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for complete beginners who are looking to start their career in nails. Training is delivered 1-to-1 or in small classes with clear, simple explanations, giving you confidence from day one.
Note: This qualification focuses on classic pedicure; gel polish is not included.
What qualification will I receive?
Upon successful completion of your case studies and assessments, you will be fully qualified in:
• Pedicure Treatments
• Health & Safety (including allergies and contraindications)
• Anatomy & Physiology (beginner nail level)
This qualification is ABT-accredited, fully certified and insurable, enabling you to begin working professionally with clients.
Entry Requirements: None required (minimum age 16).

All in-person courses must be arranged with me directly before making payment. Please email studentcare@melanielewendonacademy.co.uk to schedule your date. Courses must be paid for upon booking, and no dates are secured until full payment has been received.
Refund & Cancellation policy
• 1-to-1 Training – one date rearrangement allowed with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.
• Small Class Training – no date changes permitted once booked.

If no “class” course dates are currently available, or any dates advertised are unsuitable, a new date will be arranged with you and then advertised for other students to join, unless you have purchased a 1-to-1 training option, in which case your date will be arranged directly and privately.
When you purchase your course, you’ll receive immediate access via the "My Course Hub" section of the website, where the online learning content and theory are hosted. Exams must be completed online through the platform before attending your in-person training.

This course is fully accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists), and fully certifiable and insurable. On successful completion of your case studies and final assessment, you will receive your professional certificate, enabling you to obtain insurance and work with paying clients.
