Melanie Lewendon Academy – Course Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all courses offered by Melanie Lewendon Academy (formerly Be Inspired). By enrolling, you agree to the following:

1. Refunds & Payments

  • All courses are classed as digital products, with immediate access granted upon purchase. For this reason, no refunds can be offered, even if lessons have not been viewed. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Account Access & Security

  • Course access is provided via our secure online learning portal. You will be required to create a personal login and password.

  • Your password must remain confidential. You are responsible for its safekeeping and must not share it with others.

  • If you lose or forget your password, you can reset it via the login page. We cannot take responsibility for lost or shared passwords.

3. Email Communication

  • Please check your spam or promotions folder (particularly Gmail users) for course emails.

  • If you need to update the email address linked to your course, please contact studentcare@melanielewendonacademy.co.uk Changes may take up to 14 days to process.

  • You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in our emails. This will not affect your access to purchased courses.

4. Course Content & Access

  • Video lessons may vary in length (typically 20–120 minutes) depending on subject matter.

  • Online lesson content is for online access only and cannot be downloaded.

  • Some resources such as manuals and handouts may be provided in downloadable format, but these are for the sole use of the enrolled student and must not be copied, reused, or given to anyone else.

  • “Lifetime access” refers to the lifetime of the course and the platform, not the lifetime of the individual. If a course is ever discontinued, notice will be given and alternative learning options may be provided where possible.

  • If Melanie Lewendon Academy ceases to trade, access to course materials will no longer be available, and no refunds will be given.

5. Intellectual Property & Recording

  • All course materials, including but not limited to videos, written lessons, manuals, images, handouts, and resources, are the intellectual property of Melanie Lewendon Academy.

  • Students are strictly prohibited from:

    • Recording in-person or online lessons.

    • Copying, reproducing, or sharing course content in any format.

    • Sharing their coursework, case studies, or feedback images with third parties for external critique.

    • Allowing third parties to use, repost, or display any course-related content on social media or other public platforms.

    • Uploading, streaming, or sharing any part of the training without prior written consent.

Any unauthorised use, sharing, or distribution of course materials or student work will result in:

  • Immediate termination of course access without refund.

  • Withdrawal of certification (if already issued).

  • Refusal of future enrollments.

  • Potential legal action for breach of copyright and damages.

By enrolling, you agree to respect the confidentiality and ownership of all training materials, including downloadable resources, and the privacy of fellow students.

6. In-Person Training & Bookings

  • In-person courses can be booked as 1-to-1 or small class format.

  • If a class format is chosen, no date changes are permitted due to other students being booked.

  • If a 1-to-1 format is chosen, one date rearrangement is allowed with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.

  • Failure to attend your course without notice will result in loss of your place and fees paid.

7. Copyright & Ownership

All course content, training materials, media, and resources are the sole property and copyright of Melanie Lewendon Academy.

Any previous ownership, rules, or agreements linked to “Be Inspired” or Sam Biddle are no longer in effect. All rights, updates, and responsibilities now sit solely with Melanie Lewendon Academy.
