This fully accredited Complete Gel Nail Course is designed to give you a strong foundation across professional gel nail systems.

Covering Gel Polish, Builder Gel in a Bottle and Hard Gel, you will gain the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to offer a full range of professional gel nail services.

Training takes place in a small class environment at Melanie Lewendon Academy in Derbyshire, allowing you to learn through clear demonstrations, guided practical training and personalised feedback throughout the course.

You will also receive lifetime access to the Melanie Lewendon Academy online learning platform, giving you the ability to revisit demonstrations, theory lessons and guidance whenever you need continued support during and after your training.

• Professional nail preparation and natural nail safety
• Understanding how gel systems work and behave
• Gel polish application including multiple finishes and safe removal
• Builder gel overlays on natural nails with correct structure
• Structured builder gel application with apex placement
• Hard gel overlays and extensions using tips and forms
• Shaping and refining nails for strength and balance
• Troubleshooting lifting, retention and common product issues
• Safe removal methods and correct client aftercare
• Professional working practices and client consultation

No previous nail qualifications are required

Certification
ABT accredited certification issued once case studies have been successfully completed

Case Studies
Case studies are required after training to demonstrate safe and confident application

• Hard gel overlays and extensions using tips and forms
• Shaping, refining and strengthening nail structure
• Safe removal methods and correct client aftercare
• Lifetime access to the Melanie Lewendon Academy online learning platform
• Ongoing tutor support before, during and after your training
