This fully accredited 3-day course is designed to give you a complete foundation in gel nail systems. Covering Gel Polish, Builder Gel in a Bottle, and Hard Gel, you’ll qualify with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to offer a full range of professional gel services.
Delivered at Melanie Lewendon Academy in Heage, Derbyshire, this course combines hands-on training with lifetime access to my award-winning online platform, giving you step-by-step support, guided demos, and in-depth theory to reinforce your learning both during and after your training.

Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for complete beginners. Training is delivered 1-to-1 or in small classes with clear, simple explanations, giving you confidence from day one.
What qualification will I receive?
Upon successful completion of your case studies and assessments, you will be fully qualified in:
• Gel Polish Treatments
• Hard & Soft Builder Gel treatments – overlays and structured applications
• Hard Gel Extensions
• Health & Safety (including allergies and contraindications)
• Anatomy & Physiology (beginner nail level)
This qualification is ABT-accredited, fully certified and insurable, enabling you to begin working professionally with clients.
Entry Requirements: None required (minimum age 16).

All in-person courses must be arranged with me directly before making payment. Please email studentcare@melanielewendonacademy.co.uk to schedule your dates. Courses must be paid for upon booking, and no dates are secured until full payment has been received. Please note there booking is advisable in advance.
Refund & Cancellation policy
• 1-to-1 Training – one date rearrangement allowed with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.
• Small Class Training – no date changes permitted once booked.

If no “class” course dates are currently available, or any dates advertised are unsuitable, a new date will be arranged with you and then advertised for other students to join, unless you have purchased a 1-to-1 training option, in which case your date will be arranged directly and privately.
When you purchase your course, you’ll receive immediate access via the "My Course Hub" section of the website, where the online learning content and theory are hosted. Exams must be completed online through the platform before attending your in-person training.

This course is fully accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists), and fully certifiable and insurable. On successful completion of your case studies and final assessment, you will receive your professional certificate, enabling you to obtain insurance and work with paying clients.
