This fully accredited in-person course is designed to give you everything you need to become confident and skilled in Hard Gel nail application. With a perfect mix of theory and practical learning, you’ll build strong foundations in this system and gain the confidence to deliver professional, long-lasting results for your clients.
Training is delivered in small groups (2–3 students) or on a 1-to-1 basis at Melanie Lewendon Academy in Heage, Derbyshire. You’ll also receive lifetime access to my award-winning online platform, packed with demos, theory, and ongoing support.

Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for beginners looking to qualify in Hard Gel nails or nail technicians wanting to expand their skillset. A manicure and pedicure qualification is recommended before enrolling.

All in-person courses must be arranged with me directly before purchasing. Please email studentcare@melanielewendonacademy.co.uk to arrange your 2-day practical training. Courses must be paid for upon booking, and no dates are secured until full payment has been received.

1-to-1 Training: one date rearrangement allowed with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.

If no “class” course dates are currently available, or any dates advertised are unsuitable, a new date will be arranged with you and then advertised for other students to join, unless you have purchased a 1-to-1 training option, in which case your date will be arranged directly and privately.
When you purchase your course, you’ll receive immediate access via the "My Course Hub" section of the website, where the online learning content and theory are hosted. Exams must be completed online through the platform before attending your in-person training.

This course is fully accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists), and fully certifiable and insurable. On successful completion of your case studies and final assessment, you will receive your professional certificate, enabling you to obtain insurance and work with paying clients.
You must hold student insurance while completing your training and case studies. A discounted student policy is available through ABT; you’ll receive the discount code inside the course.
