What This Course Is Used For
Builder gel is a strengthening gel (also known as BIAB) used to reinforce natural nails, create overlays, and build short structured extensions. It’s ideal for clients who want a natural look with added durability and strength – especially those transitioning away from acrylics.

Prerequisites
No pre-requisite as the theory is full manicure theory. However, this does not qualify you to use gel polish.
Course Duration
2 in-person training days, spaced 2–3 weeks apart
(Time between sessions is used to complete case studies & practice)
Case Study Requirements
Yes – case studies are required to gain certification. These must be completed between and/or after training days. Additional case studies may be requested for quality assurance.

Yes, this course is fully accredited by ABT. You can check my credentials on their website, alongside all the courses I have accredited with them. With this accreditation, you’re also eligible to gain professional insurance.
Where is the training held (in person)?
All in-person sessions take place at our studio in Heage, Derbyshire. In addition, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to our extensive online platform, which provides extra resources, detailed theory lessons, and practical demonstrations to complement your training. Are there exams/assesments required for the course?
Absolutely! To become a skilled and safe nail technician, it's essential to continuously refresh and perfect your knowledge and technique. Our online platform features theory exams and a dedicated area where you can upload and track all your case studies. I’ll provide constructive feedback every step of the way, ensuring you develop into the best technician you can be.
Do i need to do anything before the course ?
Yes, there is online theory and online exams to complete before you attend your first day of training with me.
Do i need a kit ?
You will not require a kit for your lessons as you will use mine. However you will need a kit to complete your case studies and practice at home. A full kit list is available please email.
Will I receive ongoing support?
Absolutely. I’m dedicated to your success. You’ll have personalised support before, during, and after the course, with direct access to me for any questions or further guidance as you develop your skills.
Can i change dates/refund this course?

However, if you’re booked onto a group class, you'll need to wait to join the next scheduled session, as the group timetable cannot be altered for individual bookings – this might delay your progress.
